Apple: The Drama Queen Amongst the Botanical Family; Throughout History

Throughout history, Apple seems to be the attention-seeking drama queen among the botanical family.

This story starts way back in the Eden gardens, where Adam and Eve had the prohibited apple, which led to the discovery of the mythic fairytale of the 'origin of sin'.

I still don't understand, how an apple can be both edible and prohibited.

I still don't understand how someone's great grand father's disobedience triggered the ego of a concept like God, which further contributes to this great tapestry of chaos, where each fabric is threaded by the tears and suffering of many who just passed by and are still in anguish.

Despite this, We do also experience bliss in life in many possible ways. Yet, what happened in Eden Gardens won't be a good explanation for the chaotic nature of existence.

Next comes Newton. While I was in school, I heard that the apple which fell to the ground triggered Newton with his discoveries.

Later in life, I came to know it's not just the apple, but also the Moon that stayed in the sky that enlightened Newton with gravitational forces and calculus. How come we fail to notice the moon? It's much bigger than the apple.

Meanwhile, we fail to bring the Moon into the limelight, we're depriving every child the opportunity to grasp the curiosity of learning.

Intellectuals like Newton connected dots through rigorous observation and inquiry. In a way, we have inadvertently alienated Newton from all students, as they couldn't comprehend the journey of his mind.

In other hands; American Prometheus accuses Oppenheimer for poisoning an apple, targeting his professor.

The whole world takes a team against and supports these claims but also fails to realize the real hands behind the Trinity project, which takes down Hiroshima.

At times, the greatest scientific minds become mere puppets to someone's dirty politics.

As I said earlier, the apple is indeed the drama queen among the botanical family. Look at how it is twisting the way we perceive things.

Ironically, we as humans are not the first ones who planted an apple seed on the face of the earth. Yet we are the first ones who put a price tag on it. Which is also hard for me to comprehend.

Why even in the 21st century, we fail to address poverty?

The universe not only created hunger but also its solution too. When we cut the umbilical cord of a child, which is the source of food for the child while in fetal development, and then we fail to feed him, it's a fatal act.

Real irony is that amongst all the apple trees, the most expensive one out there is not edible one and was seeded by Steve Jobs.

Which also helps us dwell on technologies and brainstorm immensely, even rocket science is a fingertip away yet we fail to notice small things like the umbilical cord or big things like the Moon which triggered Newton.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but there shouldn't be a day when an apple takes your logic away.

This whole writing isn't solely about apples!

Even the color of an apple is attained through paradoxical means. Take red apples, for an example.

Not only red apples, but every color is perceived in this way.

Roses are red, violets are blue?
Who are you, and what ideas do you stand for?
